For every business, for everyone
Gloucestershire College can support your business with quality training delivered by industry experts.
Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16 or over and are not just for school leavers or entry level qualifications. Even senior managers can complete university level apprenticeships to upskill and develop your business.
Paid for by your apprenticeship levy or either 100% or 95% funded through the government, apprenticeships are a very affordable way to train your staff and increase productivity, motivation and morale.
Ranging from 12 to 24 months, apprenticeships provide an effective development solution and are proven to increase staff retention.
We're trusted by over 1,000 businesses to deliver training for apprentices
Fund training using your apprenticeship levy
The training costs for an apprenticeship can be fully funded through your apprenticeship levy.
If your organisation doesn't pay the apprenticeship levy (you have a wage bill of less than £3 million), you can still train new and existing staff through apprenticeships:
- If your company has less than 50 employees and you take on a 16-18 year old, you are entitled to receive the training completely free of charge.
- Your business will pay just 5% of the training costs (the government funds the rest)
Plus, your business can receive up to £4,000 per apprentice hired before September 30 2021. Apprenticeships are a great way to train both new and current staff. If you would like to understand more about apprenticeship funding, you can contact our Business Hub team today for no-obligation advice.
