Accountancy Training - Apprenticeships & Courses
We offer a range of courses accredited by the Association
of Accounting Technicians (AAT). Whether your employees are looking to gain basic accountancy skills, become an accounting technician or a fully qualified chartered accountant, they are in safe hands with Gloucestershire College. We were shortlisted by AAT as their Large Provider of the Year 2019 and have great success rates for our apprentices and students.
Enable new and existing employees to gain their accountancy qualifications with our AAT programmes, delivered as part time courses or apprenticeships.

Flexible delivery without compromising quality
Our AAT programmes are delivered through blended learning, with training both online and on campus. With evening classes available too, our AAT programmes provide the highest quality training for your staff in a way that suits your business. Our adaptable approach provides your business with a cost-effective, flexible way to bring invaluable skills into your business.
Your employees can choose to complete the AAT qualifications as a part-time course or an apprenticeship - they will receive the same AAT qualification for whichever path they choose. If you choose the apprenticeship route, this professional training can be funded using your apprenticeship levy, or, if you are not a levy payer (your annual wage bill is less than £3 million), you will pay just 5% of the training costs.

Part time course or apprenticeship?
What's the difference and how to choose the right pathway for your business and employee:
You can choose to complete our AAT qualifications as a part-time course or an apprenticeship. It's important to remember that your employee will receive the same AAT qualification and quality training whichever route you select.
If you choose the apprenticeship pathway, the training costs can be funded using your apprenticeship levy, or, if you are not a levy payer (your annual wage bill is less than £3 million), you will pay just 5% of the training costs. The government will fund the other 95%.
Apprentices require 20% off the job training towards their qualification so this will need to be taken into consideration if you choose the apprenticeship route.
