Recruiter Level 3 Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship embeds the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) Level 3 course content and aligns with the British Institute of Recruiters' Certified Agency Recruiter qualification.

Recommended by REC, this apprenticeship is ideal for recruiters working in a 360 role.

It’s funded through the apprenticeship levy or 95% government funding if non-levy, with no extra cost for the REC Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment practice (CertRP) qualification. Training starts year-round and is available nationwide, either on-site or remotely.

Apprenticeship Funding

For levy payers:

All employers with a wage bill of over £3 million per annum are required to pay 0.5% of their total wage bill into the Apprenticeship Levy. The Levy can be used to train new and existing staff through Apprenticeship Training. At the end of the financial year, the levy resets - so use it or lose it.

For non-levy payers:

Non-levy payers can take advantage of Government funding with 95% of course costs funded. You'll only need to contribute 5% to the cost of apprenticeship training.

The government will fully fund apprenticeship training for SMEs with apprentices aged 16-21, who started their training after 1 August 2024.

National Insurance Contributions (NICs) Relief

Did you know that employers are exempt from paying Class 1 National Insurance Contributions for apprentices under 25, provided they earn less than £967 per week and are on an approved UK government apprenticeship standard?

With the recent announcement of an increase in employer National Insurance contributions from 13.8% to 15%, effective from April 2025, apprenticeships could be the smart solution for affordable business growth and staff development.

Duration and delivery

Training is delivered in the workplace with a mixture of face to face and remote sessions. As we offer this qualification nationally, remote sessions are available for those apprentices who are working outside of Gloucestershire. This apprenticeship is 18 months, plus 3 months for End Point Assessment.
