Milestone School gains skilled, motivated staff with apprenticeships

The Milestone School, part of SAND Academies Trust has been recruiting apprentices for over five years, ranging from school leavers to more mature apprentices, to meet the needs of the school and its pupils. Taking on apprentices has enabled the school to benefit from staff of a range of ages, life skills, experience and expertise, which has added depth and breadth to the whole school staff team.

GC signs up to tackle climate change

Ahead of this month’s UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid, Gloucestershire College declared its commitment to tackling climate change by becoming one of the first UK colleges to sign the Global Climate Emergency Letter, in addition to The SDG Accord.

Online ILM leadership course now available

Gloucestershire College is delighted to announce it is now an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Approved Centre delivering the online-only Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
