Winning against antibiotic resistance

Our Graphic Design students have won a design competition launched by Gloucestershire County Council (GCC) aiming to raise awareness of antibiotic resistance. They were competing against 40 other schools and colleges across the county.

Earning accredited qualifications via an apprenticeship

The introduction of apprenticeship standards means that an accredited qualification no longer has to be included in the training, however many training providers, including Gloucestershire College, still do. The 12 winning bids by colleges and universities to the Government’s Institute of Technology programme, which will share £170m, have been announced by the Department for Education today which will mean big investment coming to Gloucestershire College.
