Ideal if You wish to study and train for a specific occupation ‘on the job’, whilst continuing with an academic education
You'll learn Developing your digital Knowledge and skills needed in order to be aware of information security and the security controls that can be used to mitigate security threats within solutions and services, and use digital evidence to solve problems.
Expect to have the opportunity to study on the job but also to continue with academic education which will provide you with the opportunity to progress into a skilled occupation or further study, for example, a higher apprenticeship or university

Studying a T level will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed for the Digital Industry that are relevant and up to date and that meets the skills required amongst employers. The T level has been designed with employers to ensure that the breadth of the course content will help to ensure you are able to apply these skills in a variety of contexts both in the work place and on your course.
You will need an industry placement of at least 45 days in your chosen industry or occupation working on live projects that are bespoke to you. This is ideal for those who wish to study and train for a specific occupation.
Core Contents:
All learners in year 2 will also work towards Maths in Context (Core Maths) as part of their overall programme of study.
Assessment
Assessment will be through examinations, an employer set project and practical assignments. This will all contribute to you being able to demonstrate knowledge and skills throughout this area of study.
Recommend Age Criteria: Under 19
Gloucestershire College welcome any other/combinations of relevant qualifications that are comparable and/or equivalent to the typical course entry requirements.
Applicants that do not have recognised qualifications may still meet course entry requirements through alternative methods of assessment at the College’s discretion.

upon completion you may want to progress on to our HNC in computing, HND in Forensics and cyber security, Level 6 Degree in Information technology (MSC) or a level 6 apprenticeship in Cyber Security
