GCSE Results Day and Your Next Steps
-
Once you have your GCSE results, you'll need to upload them via our Online Enrolment Portal.
-
You must contact your school before GCSE Results Day to discuss an alternative way of receiving them.
-
We recommend uploading your results onto the online enrolment portal the day you receive them. If you have not uploaded these by Monday 25 August, you may put your place on your first-choice course at risk.
-
Still upload your results – if you have done better than expected or not as well as you'd hoped we will still consider your enrolment at GC. However, we may offer a more appropriate level for you to start with.
You do not need to reapply for a different level course. Our enrolment schedule is based on the date you applied, so submitting a later application would push your place further down our schedule.
-
Our deadline to confirm your first-choice course is Thursday 31st July. Any changes made after this date will be considered as a new application.

As term begins from Wednesday 3 September, the timetable you will be sent will be a timetable for the remainder of that week. Your student mentor will provide you with a full timetable from the week commencing 8 September.
-
Your timetable will tell you where you need to be and when. Don’t worry, we’ll have lots of friendly faces to help you find your way.
We’d recommend arriving around 15 minutes early so that you have time to find your classroom.
Remember to bring a pen and a notebook for your first sessions.
-
Don’t worry, the first few days will be induction, and you may not need it straight away. If you do, there will be some you can use in the meantime.
-
You would have been sent your login details alongside your timetable, the first time you login will need to be at college.
If you need support with logging into your account or student email, you can visit the library available on all campuses.
