This Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) is tailored for individuals aiming to advance their careers in the construction and built environment sector. Whether you're entering the industry or seeking progression into supervisory, managerial, or design-related roles, this course combines theoretical knowledge with practical application to prepare you for the evolving demands of the construction industry. 

Delivery Model and Duration 

  • Study Mode: Part-time 

  • Duration: Typically 2 years 

  • Attendance: One day per week at our Cheltenham Campus 

  • Start Date: September 2025

Entry Requirements & Qualifications

Applicants should possess: 

  • Level 3 qualification in construction or a related discipline (e.g., BTEC, T Level, or Apprenticeship). 

  • GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above. 

  • Relevant industry experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

Upon successful completion, learners will be awarded the Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Construction and the Built Environment, a qualification recognised across the UK construction industry.
