The college is closed from Thursday 18th December with staff and students returning on Monday 5th January. Applications can still be made for courses during this time and will be picked up by the team on our return. Student Support Fund

Our Student Support Fund is for students who may need support or assistance with the cost of exams, trips, course materials, childcare and travel expenses.

The Student Support Fund can also support eligible students with travel and food costs.  

You can apply if: 

  • You are 16+ years old and enrolled on a course at Gloucestershire College; 
  • Receiving means tested benefits (for example, Universal Credit), or being supported by someone who is;  
  • You have a household income less than £25,000. 

Evidence would need to be provided and dated within the last three months. Evidence can be in the form of payslips, a work contract, most recent P60, Universal Credit online account or a letter stating the benefits you receive.  

How to Apply

You can apply for the Student Support Fund using PayMyStudent. As well as applying, you can use PayMyStudent to access and view your bursary payments easily and securely. With the online portal you'll be able to see any upcoming payments and your payment status
