This online AAT qualification is ideal for both individuals looking to gain or develop their knowledge, or employers looking for financial accounting training for their staff.
You will cover higher accounting tasks including drafting financial statements, managing budgets and evaluating financial performance, as well as optional specialist units including business tax, personal tax, external auditing, credit management, and cash and treasury management.

All study resources will be available via your online study platform but this course is assessed through computer-based exams and a synoptic assessment, which draws on and assesses knowledge and understanding from across the qualification. You will be required to undertake computer based assessments at one of our campuses for all units.
If you do not live in Gloucestershire we will liaise with you to find an examination centre closer to your home address.
Whilst our online courses are designed to be accessed at a time and a study pace to suit you around your existing commitments there are pre-set deadlines in place to ensure timely completion. It is recommended that you dedicate a minimum of 6 hours per week of study time. There is an expectation you will complete and achieve within approximately10 months of starting.
Please note you will be responsible for paying the mandatory AAT membership registration fee of £257 in order to sit your assessments. Any exam assessment re-sits will be charged at the rate of £66 per re-sit (external out of county assessments will be charged at the rate of £120 per re-sit).
This qualification is aimed at those aged 19 (as at 31st August of the academic year) or over who have completed the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and are used to independent study and require minimal support.
All applicants will be required to complete a short assessment form to ensure the correct level of study.
Students are responsible for paying the additional AAT annual registration fee which is mandatory in order to sit the external assessments.
