Expand your Excel expertise with this focused half-day workshop on formulas and functions.

You’ll learn how to create and apply essential formulas and statistical functions, including SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT, as well as more advanced tools like the IF function and percentage calculations. The session also covers practical techniques such as using the fill handle, understanding absolute and relative cell referencing, and troubleshooting common errors, including circular references.

By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to use formulas and functions effectively, making your spreadsheets more powerful and accurate.

Please note a basic understanding of Excel is required to benefit from this workshop.

  • This course is aimed at those who are aged 19 and over (as at 31st August of the academic year you are applying for) who are looking to improve their skills to move into work or progress into more sustainable employment.
