Jobsmart is a free service from Gloucestershire College to help and support unemployed people, aged 19 and above, in Gloucestershire to return to work. The courses offered by Jobsmart are tutor led and designed to support you back in to work.

A successful interview can be the key to landing your dream job, are you prepared?

This two-day interactive workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to excel in any interview setting. Through practical activities and exercises, you’ll learn how to present yourself professionally, answer questions effectively, and make a lasting impression.

What you’ll gain:

  • Master common and challenging interview questions with structured responses.
  • Understand interview etiquette and the do’s and don’ts that employers notice.
  • Learn how to make a strong first impression from the moment you walk in.
  • Develop strategies to sell yourself and your skills with confidence.
  • Discover how to prepare thoroughly—from research to mindset.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave with practical techniques, personalised feedback, and the confidence to approach interviews with clarity and professionalism.

  • This course is aimed at those who are aged 19 and over (as at 31st August of the academic year you are applying for) who are looking to improve their skills to move into work or progress into more sustainable employment.
