This two-day course is designed for learners who have already completed Computer Confidence – Essential Skills or who already have a basic understanding of Information Technology. Building on the Basics will help you further develop your digital skills by boosting your confidence in Microsoft Word and introducing you to additional Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.

This course will build your confidence in using the three main Microsoft Office applications and give you a solid understanding of how they can be applied in everyday workplace tasks.

  • This course is aimed at those who are aged 19 and over (as at 31st August of the academic year you are applying for) who are looking to improve their skills to move into work or progress into more sustainable employment.

    In some circumstances you may be able to access this course for free.
