T Levels Industry Placements: Connect to Future Talent
T Levels are a two-year technical qualification for 16 to 19 year olds. Equivalent to 3 A levels these courses help young people develop the knowledge, attitude and practical skills to progress into skilled employment, an apprenticeship or further study.
A key feature of a T Level programme is the extended industry placement, connecting businesses to future talent in a meaningful way.
By hosting a T Level student, employers can support workforce development, bring fresh perspectives into their organisation, and identify potential future recruits early.

Support a T Level Student
We invite local employers to support our T level learners by offering an industry placement that will put their learning, knowledge and skills into practice in a real workplace environment.
A student will be invited to work with you for around 45 days, developing skills and building confidence. Placement times can be arranged to fit in with your needs.
For employers it presents a unique opportunity to:
- Attract motivated young people to your business, bringing in imaginative and new ideas
- Improve the recruitment pipeline for your business
- Address local and national skills gaps by helping young people develop the skills your industry needs
- Develop existing staff’s mentoring and management skills
- Build a more diverse and creative workforce
- Save recruitment costs by providing the opportunity to see what the young person can offer, on a no obligation employment basis

In addition to core units of health and safety, mathematics and science, the curriculum includes topics like sustainability, design, law, project management and technology, alongside the practical elements of land and building surveying to provide accurate measurement and industry quality drawings.

Health: Supporting the Adult Nursing Team T Level
T Level students on this course would benefit from industry placements where they'll gain knowledge and skills in assisting adult nursing teams with clinical tasks, supporting individuals in daily activities.
These hands-on experiences are reinforced by classroom learning, giving students a strong foundation in key areas including anatomy and physiology, nutrition and wellbeing, and person-centred care routines. Students also build an understanding of the safe use and calibration of clinical equipment, alongside the policies and professional guidelines that underpin effective healthcare practice.
Digital Support Services: Digital Infrastructure T Level
Students on this course develop digital knowledge and skills in information security, and understand the security controls that can be used to mitigate security threats within solutions and services, using digital evidence to solve problems. They learn to apply procedures and controls to maintain the digital security of an organisation and its data, and explain, install, configure, test and manage both physical and virtual infrastructure.
This is a great foundation for high-level specialised qualifications in networking or infrastructure architecture, or employment at intermediate levels.
Business: Team Leadership and Management T Level
Students develop the practical skills and commercial awareness needed to add value from day one. They’re preparing for careers in business support, team leadership and operations.
Their training covers core business functions including organisation, communication, change management, and quality and compliance, before progressing into team leadership and management.
By offering an industry placement, you gain a motivated, work-ready individual who can support your day-to-day operations while bringing fresh perspective to your business.
Education and Early Years T Level
Students develop the practical skills to become confident, work-ready childcare professionals while gaining knowledge of child development, health, wellbeing and safety, safeguarding, legislation, and curriculum frameworks. They are prepared to support real early years settings from the outset.
They will benefit from the industry placement where they can hone their skills and gain hands-on experience observing children, supporting play and learning activities, and contributing to age-appropriate development, while building an understanding of individual care needs in a real-world environment.
