From entry level courses, post-GCSE courses and university level education, you can find all of our full-time courses here. Full-time courses are categorised as any course that has timetabled study of over 16 hours a week and are suitable for those aged 16 and over, including adult learners.

I did one year of sixth form, but I wanted to focus on Art and felt like I'd rather use that skill to my best and focus on things I find more interesting. I prefer how visual it is. There’s a lot of thinking but it’s freer and you can do what you want really. We learn new skills and I like that we have multiple briefs – you don’t get burnt out and bored on one brief. I like how different the briefs are. You can pick one theme and really focus on that. I can put all my personal interests into the brief, so I got to design a poster for a tattoo shop in the style that I’m quite interested in.

I studied at Wyedean School and Sixth Form where I took History, Maths, Computer Science and Physics for A Levels. My interest in cyber was sparked when I went on a CyberFirst Advanced residential course which I loved, so thought why not pursue cyber security as a career choice! If you have an interest in IT and problem solving, then definitely consider studying cyber.

I decided to choose the route of an apprenticeship because I didn't think university was for me and I really liked the idea of learning while I was working and earning while I was working. You're not just studying all the time you're also hands-on at the job as well so you're learning a lot more because you're applying it on the job as well.

I enjoy the help I get in lessons and being allowed to use the computers freely to do my work. The business course is very versatile so it can help with lots of job options after college. My dream career is something in finance, maybe a Chartered Accountant, so everything I’m learning now on my course about Business will help me to reach that goal. “I want to be a midwife and this course will allow me to go on to university and pursue my career. GC has helped me to understand what qualifications I need to go on to study midwifery. They also push me to do better. It is a great college and with the help of the lecturers and your own initiative you will definitely be successful. I plan to go to London Southbank, University of Worcester or the University of the West of England to study midwifery.”

I think it’s so important that we get more females in construction. After finishing school, I didn’t think it was an option for a girl to do a trade, as A Levels and universities are traditionally pushed as a better route. I hope that maybe one girl will see this and realise that she can start a career in trade too with an apprenticeship. And then she will inspire another girl, and the domino effect will finally get more women in construction.
