From entry level courses, post-GCSE courses and university level education, you can find all of our full-time courses here. Full-time courses are categorised as any course that has timetabled study of over 16 hours a week and are suitable for those aged 16 and over, including adult learners.

I like doing colour because it’s more creative and you can do a lot more with it. It's really satisfying with the before and after photos. Finding clients but it is a really good way to learn and do the assessments. My lecturers are really good, they’re always there to help. I wasn’t very confident with cuts but the more practice I’ve had, the more confident I felt doing haircuts. It’s really lovely getting the client feedback afterwards.

The most useful thing that I've learnt is being able to improve my skills with cooking. I've done so many dishes from savoury to dessert for our own restaurant at college where the public can come in. It's great being around lecturers as they're nice and have all worked in industry.

I did one year of sixth form, but I wanted to focus on Art and felt like I'd rather use that skill to my best and focus on things I find more interesting. We learn new skills and I like that we have multiple briefs – you don’t get burnt out and bored on one brief. You can pick one theme and really focus on that. I can put all my personal interests into the brief, so I got to design a poster for a tattoo shop in the style that I’m quite interested in.

I'm enjoying learning about the safeguarding aspect of Early Years and becoming a practitioner. From September till now I've had so many experiences working with children and being in that environment and also learning the theory. I studied Health and Social Care at school and I already work in a healthcare setting in Tuffley after school. enjoy the practical sessions where we’re hands-on doing stuff. We can do voluntary work every Friday and I do activities with adults with learning disabilities. I like the freedom of college.

There is a lot of freedom in computing. I'm enjoying the computer hardware and software programming side of the course as well as cryptography and cryptanalysis. We just recently went on a trip to The National Museum of Computing which was great.
