Overview

In partnership with Rise HR, we’re excited to launch an 8-week Mental Health Skills Bootcamp.

More than a standard Mental Health First Aid course, this programme is specifically tailored for small and medium-sized businesses, providing practical tools to enhance staff wellbeing and foster a positive, healthy workplace culture.

 



Overview

Who is eligible?

  • Employees who are based in South Gloucestershire/WECA region OR if their employer's postcode falls in this region.
  • Learners will need to commit to one day or half a day’s learning a week (for up to 12 weeks) through the mix of onsite and remote learning.

  • Implementing strategies to improve mental health at work.
  • Self-awareness, personal resilience and building healthy boundaries at work.
  • Developing a healthy workplace culture that promotes effective productivity.
  • Dealing with Mental Health crisis situations at work.
  • Understanding Employment law and Duty of Care requirement on employers relating to Mental Health.

Delivery

  • There will be a mix of remote and face-to-face workshops, case studies, reflection and CDP Logs.
  • Face-to-face sessions will be held at Engineers House in Bristol (free parking) and include a light lunch and refreshments.

How much does it cost?

90% of the Mental Health Skills Bootcamp is funded by WECA. Employers wishing to enrol their staff will only need to contribute £400 per company towards the training cost. You can have more than 1 member of staff enrolled.
