Enrolment Frequently Asked Questions
Starting College & Timetable

It is important you:
- Attend your current timetable
- Speak to your Student Mentor to request a transfer.
A transfer is a possibility, it will depend on a space being available, but you must still attend your current timetable.
Please do not reapply for another course, we will not process this and will direct you to contact your Student Mentor and attend college.

When you are sent your timetable it will tell you the start date and time, please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before.

We recommend you bring a notebook and pens on your first day.

We don’t have a set uniform, we recommend you wear something comfortable.
If your course has requirements, your tutor will let you know on your first day.

Don’t worry, the first few days will be induction, and you may not need it straight away. If you do, there will be some you can use in the meantime.

Don’t worry, there will be signs about the college explaining the room numbers and numerous staff to direct you to where you need to be!

As term begins from Wednesday 3 September, the timetable you will be sent will be a timetable for the remainder of that week.
For a full timetable, when you come to college on your first day please speak to your student mentor.

Courses do have hours of work experience attached to them. Your tutor and student mentor will explain this to you.

Student Development is an important part of your timetable; your Student Mentor will let you know more about this when you start as it will be different per course.

For learners aged 16-18, if you have not achieved a Grade 4 in Maths and English this will be on your timetable, from your first full week at college unless communicated otherwise.

You would have been sent your login details alongside your timetable, the first time you login will need to be at college.
If you need support with logging into your account or student email, you can visit the library available on all campuses.
