Useful dates
Throughout your journey from applicant to student on a Full Time Course at Gloucestershire College the Admissions Team will update you on some useful dates and deadlines over the coming weeks/months.
The timeline will start from October 2025 through to October 2026 in line with our application and enrolment cycle.
*Some dates are subject to change or confirmation, but these will be updated and communicated to all applicants.
2nd October – Applications Open
Applications for the following September (2026) Full Time courses open on Thursday 2nd September 2025, for enrolment (in August 2026) is prioritised on application date order so make sure you apply nice and early!
November – Open Evenings
Throughout November we do have Open Evenings at all our Campuses, this is a perfect way to see the college, meet the tutors and you can also make an application with the Admissions Team.

Find out more about open evenings 31st March – Recommended Application Date
31st March is our recommended application date, we do take applications after this date, but they are considered later. We can never guarantee a place on a course applying before or after 31st March but applying before this date does put your application in a strong position in the enrolment queue.
31st July – First Choice Course Confirmation Deadline
We have a deadline to confirm your First Choice to be fair and transparent to all applicants. If you have applied for more than one Full Time course, then we will ask you to confirm your First Choice and we will send plenty of reminders!
First choice course FAQs 20th August – GCSE Results Day
Make sure you remember this date; this is when you will receive your GCSE Results from your School! We will also need a copy of them but don’t worry, closer to the time we will send you information on how to upload a copy to our pre-enrolment portal.

GCSE Results Day FAQs Monday 24th August - Tuesday 1st September - Enrolment 2026
During this week we will enrol applicants who have completed their enrolment steps, we will send you some useful information closer to the time.
This is done remotely, applicants do not need to attend.
Applicants must make sure their pre-enrolment steps are completed by Sunday 23rd August.
Please note - College is shut on Monday 31st August for Bank Holiday.

Term for Full Time courses will begin from Wednesday 2nd September.
Not all courses will begin on this day, it is timetable dependant, this will be confirmed once you are enrolled.
Wednesday 30th September – Last Day to Apply for September 2026
The last day to apply for a Full-Time course beginning in September 2026 will be Wednesday 30th September.
Friday 2nd October – Last Day to Enrol for September 2026
The last day to enrol for a Full-Time course that begins in September 2026 is Friday 2nd October.
