Believe it or not, I have a Masters in Physiotherapy! I had been working as a carer, a mother, and a housewife, before this. I enjoy cooking and baking, so I’m doing this for myself – for a mental break. The part-time course works really well with my work/life balance, and I really enjoy coming here.

You can learn a lot of different methods, and from someone who already has a lot of experience, you can learn a lot of commercial tips. The extra tricks are incredible for saving time at home! I really like the teamwork and great people, and meeting people outside of the house.  

With cooking, it’s a very quick reward when people are really happy with the food you’re producing. You don’t have to wait months to see the reward of your work! 

I’ve already applied for the level 3 course, then I will maybe apply for the patisserie course. In the future I’d like to open a business, some kind of small coffee shop.
