T Levels: the next level qualification

Combining 80% classroom learning with 20% industry placement, T Levels prepare you for careers in construction, healthcare or digital support services.

University Level Information

GC Higher Education

Vocationally focused higher education courses which can lead you straight to a career, or act as a stepping stone to a higher qualification such as a bachelor’s degree, if you go on to complete a ‘top up’ course.

A range of HNCs are offered, which are equivalent to the first year of university, and HNDs, which are generally equivalent to the second year of university. Students can also complete a Foundation Degree in a number of subject areas, which is equivalent to two thirds of a full honours degree.

GROWS – GAP Project

GROWS is a group of Gloucestershire colleges and universities and they also have activities that you could access; you can visit them at an open day or find out more about a particular subject. Whether you are just starting to think about what your choices are or whether you are about to take your next step and need some advice, GROWS can offer information to help you to feel confident.

 The Gloucestershire Aspiration Programme (GAP) is a HEFCE funded initiative that aims to raise aspiration to university level study (higher education) amongst pupils from targeted areas in Gloucestershire.
