Local construction firm Elijah Willow provides innovative, unique, and high-quality design and build services. More than 300 people descended on our Gloucester campus on Wednesday 16 March 2022 to attend our annual Apprenticeship Open Event. The event, open to everyone aged 16+ interested in training, re-training or upskilling through apprenticeships, invited attendees to discover more about apprenticeships, and to meet Gloucestershire-based employers from a wide range of industries looking to recruit apprentices.
On 17 February, GC’s Restaurant Number One was bustling with over 40 guests enjoying a delicious breakfast prepared by the College’s professional cookery students. After the breakfast, the attendees proceeded to GC’s Advanced Digital Academy (ADA), a state-of-the art digital skills training facility, for presentations and discussion.

The last week of January saw Gloucestershire College (GC) welcoming a group of business leaders from Gloucestershire-based SMEs for 2 days of free cyber security training at its Advanced Digital Academy (ADA).
Following a positive response from the October event, the S4G team has announced 27-28 January 2022 as the new date of its “Cyber Security for Your Business” workshop for Gloucestershire’s SMEs.
Businesses across Gloucestershire and beyond can now sign up to free modular tech courses in the Certificate of Future Technologies, a skills training programme created by the West of England Institute of Technology (WEIoT) partnership in response to local needs.
