GC House no.2 is sold!

We’re delighted to announce that GC House no.2 has officially sold – making a profit – and we gave the keys to a family last week!
This particular house, based in Hucclecote, was a highly ambitious project for our students and, despite a few challenges along the way, we’re over the moon with the completed result and how well our students worked together on it.
When we first got the keys for Porchester Road, we were faced with asbestos, unsafe electrics, plumbing and flooring that needed replacing, a garden needing landscaping and many more problems for our students to solve, to be able to transform the property into a lovely family home.
Fast forward six months and our plumbing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and brickwork students achieved their goal, under the expert eye of Project Manager Rachael Capener. Find out more about the completed project here.
Rachael said: “We’re so happy to have sold our second house, and are delighted that the efforts of our talented students will be enjoyed by a family for years to come.
“We really couldn’t have come this far without the support and donations from local merchants – too many to mention individually. They’ve been so generous with their time, experience and materials to benefit the next generation of tradesmen, who they will hopefully hire in the future.
“We’re making good progress on house no.3 and are on track to complete the renovation in the summer. As always, we welcome any support available from local businesses – contact me on the details below.”
