GC featured in new NHS film to show young people where to seek mental health advice

6 November 2016

This month our Gloucester Campus featured in a short film by NHS Gloucestershire, to promote a new mental health service for young people in the county.

The video, produced by Warden Media, was created to raise awareness of the additional services the NHS has introduced to make mental health services accessible to young people, which links in a new website they have launched:

The website addresses the wide range of mental health problems young people could experience, such as abuse, anxiety, alcohol and drug problems, gender identity and family problems, and provides a link to where they can seek help for each.

The film entitled 'Making Contact' is set in various locations around the campus, with scenes in the library, corridors and Student Services. It even features some GC staff and students, who act out various situations in which a young person requires help and advice.
