Praise for “superbly organised” enrolment process at GC
Gloucestershire College is welcoming new and returning students at its Cheltenham, Gloucester and Forest of Dean Campuses this week, and will continue to accept applications throughout September.
The College welcomed 2,200 full-time students in to enrol onto its further education courses and sixth form, throughout the first week of September. Enrolment will continue at all three campuses between 9am and 4pm on weekdays until 23 September.
Feedback from parents, students and staff has been positive, with praise for the smooth running of the enrolment process, calling it “a well-oiled machine” and “an improvement on last year.”
One parent emailed Principal Matthew Burgess to say: "It was a fantastic experience and superbly organised.
"I have worked in both the private and public sectors and have never experienced anything so well organised at all stages. All the staff members who took part were professional and a credit to the college!"
The College continues to accept late applications for many of its courses throughout September, for students who didn’t get the grades they expected or have changed their mind.
The dedicated GC Advice and Guidance Team will be holding Advice Evenings, on three Wednesdays in September between 4pm and 7pm. These drop in events will take place across all campuses, with students and their parents invited to come along and discuss their course options and apply.
Further information on the Advice Evenings can be found here or call the Advice Team on 0345 155 2020.
