Progress your professional development at Gloucestershire College
Whether you have aspirations of becoming an accountant, counsellor, web developer or fitness instructor, or you are an employer looking to further develop your staff, we've launched a new Part-time and Professional Course Guide brimming with courses to upskill in these industries and many more.
Available across all campuses in Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Royal Forest of Dean, and covering Levels 1 to 5, the new range of part-time, professional courses begin between January and May 2015, and aim to fit in with the busy lives of those already in industry.
The diverse range of courses includes AAT Accounting Technicians Access; Certificates in Human Resource Practice, Counselling, Personal Training and Life Coaching; the Award in Food Safety in Catering; the EAL Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations; the Indian Head Massage Award; Web Design; Fitness Instructing; and the Award in Education and Training.
All courses will develop students’ skills in their chosen field, provide them with an industry-recognised qualification and ultimately enhance their career prospects. Some of these are essential for progression within the workplace, while others can open doors to alternative career pathways.
Vice Principal Peter White said: “Gloucestershire College is committed to continuing professional development and the new range of part-time courses are not only highly focused and relevant but many are taught by practitioners active in their fields.
“For employers, the courses offer the opportunity to develop staff to meet their full potential and the ever-changing economic and industry demands.”
