The Cheltenham Fashion Academy presents: City, Culture and Travel
Gloucestershire College Level 3 Fashion Design students studying at Cheltenham campus will be putting on a special end of the year catwalk event on Tuesday 20th May at the College’s Cheltenham Campus.
The fashion show promises to be one to remember with a diverse and exciting collection of clothing to be featured. Each piece has been designed, produced and finalised by the fashion students as part of their course. With the theme of city, culture and travel, the students will be exhibited their best pieces in their grand finale.
What’s more, as part of the event, there will be the opportunity to see a wide selection of student fashion shoot images and speak to the extremely talented and passionate students and lecturers about their experiences within the fashion industry.
Marieta Pestova, a current Fashion Design student at Gloucestershire College says; “The fashion course at Gloucestershire College has been a fantastic experience. It has been great to have the opportunity to create our own pieces and I can’t wait to show these off at the show. Studying this course has really helped me to decide which areas of this varied industry I enjoy the most and want to pursue when I leave college.”
The Level 3 Fashion Design course provides learners with a creative and diverse introduction to the fashion industry. The programme covers topics including illustration, pattern cutting, textiles and garment construction, alongside elements of fashion photography and styling. The two year programme is fast paced and culminates with the showcase fashion show where students are invited to exhibit their collections.
The free event begins at 6.00pm and is free to attend. To reserve your space, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
