Construction & Building Services Business Breakfast

24 June 2022 at 9:30 until 11:30

Join us for a morning of breakfast, networking and talks at our eco-friendly Cinderford (Forest of Dean) campus.

The event will focus on the best way the industry can develop and retain a motivated, highly-skilled workforce in Construction & Building Services.

Industry speakers from two established companies, including Elijah Willow Construction will share their thoughts about what needs to be done to stimulate and drive much needed change in the Construction sector; and what employers can do to attract and retain talent.

Mike Lawson, Director of Technology and Engineering at GC will also share his perspective on business and education joining forces to train the upcoming talent in the industry and how employers can tap into that talent pool.

Businesses will have the opportunity to network, share their experiences, and to learn from GC Employer Training & Apprenticeships team about getting the most out of apprenticeships and available funding.

The Business Breakfast is free to attend and includes a sit down breakfast cooked by our Professional Cookery students in our onsite restaurant, The View. After the breakfast, the guests will be invited to our Touchdown amphitheatre for presentations.
