Bobby Johnstone

I never felt like university was going to be for me, as I never had a positive relationship with education until I started college.

I thought I’d just finish the course, then find my own way into the industry. But the more I progressed, the more support I received and the more I developed my skills and I thought, “maybe university could be for me!” My lecturer made me aware of the paths I could take to start my career, as well as the jobs available.

I’m now studying Film Production at The University of Gloucestershire and I hope to become a writer and director of feature films, and inspire others to get into filmmaking.
