Alexander Ron

I applied to study at GC because the BTEC was a fairly new course and it looked better than A Levels. I’m really interested in the business elements of fashion, including marketing and social media, which is covered in the BTEC course.

I enjoy the mix of business with practical but my favourite part of the course was the trips – we went to Milan last year!

I managed to secure a place to study Fashion Communications at Vogue London: Condé Nast – only 30 places are available worldwide each year! The course will cover everything from marketing and social media to business, journalism and publishing, so I’m very excited to start.

Ultimately I want to run my own fashion business; the GC course has helped me to create my own website, blog and portfolio, featuring 25 pieces of work.
