Ideal if: you want to explore digital film and video, and some aspects of photography
You'll learn: basic lighting and sound techniques, and gain experience of working collaboratively using DSLRs and other equipment.
Expect to: gain work-related experience by completing exciting practical briefs and to regularly create your own media footage.
You'll love: planning and producing practical assignments, and working with industry professionals on live projects.
This course gives you the opportunity to explore digital film and video and some aspects of photography.
Your studies will include
- Use of industry standard software, for example PhotoShop and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Practical assignments and live projects with industry professionals

At Gloucestershire College we want students to develop their English and maths skills so that they achieve their learning goals and future career aims. For this reason all full-time students who have not achieved grade A* to C English language or maths GCSE will study these subjects as part of their course.
