Ideal if: you want to explore and experiment with a range of creative skills, while gaining the necessary know-how to progress on to a Level 2 qualification.
You’ll learn: about art and design, performing arts, video and media at an introductory level.
Expect: to develop your English and maths skills, as well as take part in work-related activities to enable you to progress.

You’ll work with specialised staff to develop a range of skills. All students will follow a full programme of functional skills (English and Maths) which is integrated into the main course of study.
Gloucestershire College welcome any other/combinations of relevant qualifications that are comparable and/or equivalent to the typical course entry requirements.
For 19+ applicants that do not have recognised qualifications may still meet course entry requirements through alternative methods of assessment at the College’s discretion.

Photography (Level 2) BTEC Extended Certificate
and
Further Education (Level 3), Higher Education or employment in industry

Through these links, we are able to provide invaluable work experience through live project briefs and exciting joint events. Trips are embedded throughout our creative courses to inspire you and broaden your experience. In recent years, our students have travelled to Amsterdam, Cannes, London, Milan, New York and Paris with their course.
