Get Creative

  • Students

Ideal if: you want to explore and experiment with a range of creative skills, while gaining the necessary know-how to progress on to a Level 2 qualification.

You’ll learn: about art and design, performing arts, video and media at an introductory level.

Expect: to develop your English and maths skills, as well as take part in work-related activities to enable you to progress.

You’ll love: gaining experience and growing your confidence in a broad range of creative skills.

This course gives you the opportunity to explore and experiment in a range of creative skills.

    Your studies will include:

    • Art and photography
    • Media
    • Performing Arts

"The quality of teaching, learning and assessment in creative arts is outstanding, which reflects the excellent outcomes for all learners, the high proportion achieving high grades, and the high levels of progression into further studies.” (Ofsted, 2013)

You’ll work with specialised staff to develop a range of skills. All students will follow a full programme of functional skills (English and Maths) which is integrated into the main course of study.

At Gloucestershire College we want students to develop their English and maths skills so that they achieve their learning goals and future career aims. For this reason all full-time students who have not achieved grade A* to C English language or maths GCSE will study these subjects as part of their course.
