What are BTEC qualifications?
Unlike technical or academic qualifications, a Business and Technology Educational Council (BTEC) qualification can give you specialist work-related experience in a particular industry. By combining practical learning with theory, you could study towards a career in an industry that suits you.
Plus, a Level 3 BTEC qualification is the equivalent to 3 A Levels. If you complete a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma with three Distinctions this is worth 144 UCAS points and 1 in 4 university students have a BTEC qualifications, including those at Russell Group universities.
