Jane Jenkins, Head of School of Arts, Music, Media and Performing Arts

"I studied art in Cheltenham many years ago and found the town with it's beautiful regency architecture, its ,any Festivals including Design, Science, Literature and Jazz, plus the Wilson Art Gallery & Museum and highly stimulating environment in which to live and study.

So if you too are thinking of studying art, GC is the place I would wholeheartedly recommend. There is real buzz of the excitement of creativity in the studios with its dedicated and inspirational staff who are fantastic at bringing out and developing each students individual qualities, talent and potential.

I was blown away by seeing the Foundation course's diverse and stunning diploma exhibition in July and talking to the students discovered that they had all been offered places on university degree courses including Goldsmiths in London. Likewise I'm sure that all GC's Higher Education courses, Certificates and Diplomas in Art, Graphic Design, Photography, and Fashion etc. would be perfect stepping stones for entering careers in those fields by gaining employment or further studies, or you might even become and entrepreneur!"
