AAT Access Award in Business Skills (Level 1) qualification is a course that anybody can benefit from.
It's ideal for professionals keen to learn transferable, wider skills needed in any business, as well as young people looking to take their first step on the career ladder.
The course covers basic accounting techniques and principles, enabling learners to gain a broader understanding of the business environment.

Open to all - funding available
You don’t need formal qualifications or previous experience to study this course. It is open to anyone aged 16+.

How it works
This qualification is delivered completely online, but still offers the support of our experienced tutors at GC, allowing learners to fit studies around home life.
It includes one weekly online tutored session, on Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 8.45pm, plus additional work outside of these hours.
The course duration is 12 weeks, completed with one online assessment.
Course cost
The AAT Access Award in Business Skills (L1) qualification costs £228, plus AAT membership (£147) and a materials fee (£20).
If you're aged 16-18, the course cost is fully funded, and we may be able to help cover the materials fee.

What next?
Successful completion of this course will enable learners to go on to study further AAT qualifications, including Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting and AAT Level 3 & 4 Advanced and Professional Diploma in Accounting.
