We are looking for someone to join our close-knit team in the heart of Lydney where you will act as our Receptionist and customer service representative at WPS Wealth whilst studying towards your Customer Service Practitioner qualification.

WPS Wealth are an established Financial Consultancy business spanning across 3 sites, you will be based in our Lydney branch but will work closely with our 2 other branches in Cardiff and Swansea.

Your day to day role will see you providing excellent customer service to both external and internal customers via phone, letter and email whilst you work as the Receptionist for the business. You will be working independently but supported by the wider team to learn all aspects of the desk and diary management for the financial advisors.

In addition to the customer facing aspects of this role, which will see you develop your professional communication skills, you will also be involved in the collation and delivery of reports for the Financial Advisors prior to client meetings.

You will be involved in the research and data collection for the reports by using various systems and websites. There is an element of tenacity within this position to ensure you have the required data for both client and advisor prior to any meetings.

Other duties will include and are not limited to:

  • Client relationship management
  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Diary management
  • Drafting initial paperwork, documentation, applications, cheques and contracts
  • Independent learning and research for qualification
  • Planning and organising

Things to consider

Based in Lydney this will be an ideal position for local residents however being based on the high street, there is a bus route close by and the train station is less than a mile away. For those that drive, there is access to a car park.
