Duties Include:

  • Supervision of children during Nursery sessions
  • Attending to the general welfare of children
  • Ensuring that parents/carers of sick children are informed
  • To encourage acceptable standards of hygiene
  • To provide emotional support to distressed children
  • Organising, washing & cleaning of tables, equipment, play areas, aprons, etc. during Nursery sessions
  • Assisting with the monitoring, control & maintenance of materials & equipment

The children at Winton House are organised into small groups and have opportunity throughout each session to be active and to rest, to be indoors and outdoors, for large and small muscle movement, for staff and child-initiated play and for small and large group activities. We have three nursery groups: Babies (0-2 years) Toddlers (2-3 years) Pre-school (3-5 years).

GCSE maths and English A – C 9/4 or equivalent.
