Applying for a Higher Education Course

It’s easy to apply for a course at GC! Apply online and you’ll be able to track the live progress of your application too.

Five simple steps to making an application:

  1. Visit gloscol.ac.uk
  2. Search for a course under Courses or Departments
  3. Click shortlist and apply now
  4. Log in and register
  5. Complete the form

For any full-time HE courses including HNC, HND, Foundation Degree, or Degree apply through www.UCAS.com. UCAS have a number of application deadline dates dependant on the date you submit your application. More information on UCAS application dates can be found on their website. 


Each year the College supports over 500 students with applying for a full time higher education course at university or college and across the UK the picture is that the numbers are rising. 

Gloucestershire College students who apply for a higher education course have a good success rate which is slightly above the national average and most of them end up at their first choice university.

The types of qualifications you can do are varied and modes of delivery are becoming more flexible including doing an HND or Foundation degree as part of a higher apprenticeship as well as studying for a degree at university or college.
