RESPECT and Our Code of Conduct

At GC we believe everyone has the right to be treated with respect, regardless of age, gender, religion, sexuality, or disability.

We also believe that our staff and students have the right to work and study somewhere clean and nice.

The RESPECT Campaign upholds these values.

Nasty or hurtful behaviour, and litter and vandalism are not accepted.

We wrote a Code of Conduct, and a Student Agreement, to help students understand what is expected of them at GC and what we offer in return. We want you to...

  • Be here
  • Work hard
  • Stay safe
  • Behave well

We also encourage students to read and adhere to the student policies. In particular you should read:

  • Advice on e-safety
  • Student Acceptable Use Policy (ILT)
  • Student Disciplinary Procedure
  • Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults Policy

You can find all these documents on our Legislation and Policy page.
