Key Application Dates

Applications for our full-time 2019/20 course starts commencing in September 2019 will be open from the 1st October 2018.

Recommended Full-Time Application Submission Date: Before the 31st March 2019

Due to the popularity of our courses we strongly recommend applying before the 31st March to ensure you have the best opportunity to join your chosen course of study.

Full-Time Applications received after the 31st March

We will still consider applications after the 31st March however applications submitted after this date may result in you not being able to join your first choice course.


Applications for our full-time and part-time 2019/20 Higher Education course starts commencing in September 2019 will be open from the 6th September 2018.

Recommended Higher Education Application Submission Date: Before the 1st September 2019

Applications for Higher Education courses for the 2019/20 academic year commencing September 2019 will be accepted from the 6th September 2018. Full Time Higher Education applicants are required to submit their application through UCAS or direct through the Gloucestershire College wesbite and can submit their application from the 6th September 2018.


Higher Education Applications received after the 1st September 2019

Applicants that apply to Gloucestershire College from the 1st September will be considered however applications submitted after this date will be subject to additional academic conditions such as the course start date and content of the course missed. 


Applications for our Part Time and Professional 18/19 and 19/20 course starts will also be open from the 1st October 2018.

Due to a number of in year start dates we encourage all applicants to submit their applications with as much time possible before the start date of your chosen course. This allows the Admissions Team and Academic Departments to communicate the Admissions process to you as clearly as possible. We will endeavour to support applications submitted within seven days of the start date of a part-time or Professional course, however, please be aware in some instances you may not be able to join the course due to course assessments, entry criteria and subject to availability that must be satisfied.


Applications for our Apprenticeships

Applications for apprenticeships are accepted all year around as a number of apprenticeship vacancies and opportunities become available throughout the academic year for applicants.
