Gloucestershire College is the main provider of hospitality, catering and chef training in the county and has a long, successful track record, with students going on to develop careers with Raymond Blanc, the Roux Brothers and Heston Blumenthal. Many go on to set up their own successful restaurants and catering businesses. Tom Kerridge was a past pupil of the College.
Gloucestershire College Catering and Hospitality students met French culinary maestro Albert Roux and his team at the launch of Fairlawne, a new fine dining restaurant which will open at Cheltenham Racecourse during this year's Cheltenham Festival meeting.
The first group of Gloucestershire College’s Catering and Hospitality students has now successfully completed its five-week work experience placement at Chelsea Bar and Brasserie in Cheltenham, as part of the College’s vocational training partnership with the popular restaurant.
