Whether you’re an aspiring baker gripped by the Great British Bake Off or an employer looking to upskill your staff, Gloucestershire College is opening its doors to showcase the work of its students in a Cake Decoration Exhibition on Friday 24 June.
To celebrate its achievements over the past 18 months, Gloucestershire College has launched a 2015-16 Annual Review, which provides the local community and businesses with information about the College’s activities, partnerships and investments.
In light of the recent news that record numbers of Access to HE students progressed to degree-level study last year*, and the upcoming changes to the Advanced Learner Loan to increase accessibility to higher level study, Gloucestershire College is urging those who missed out on the chance to go to university to consider this route to improve their career prospects.
Gloucestershire College is delighted to announce a huge success for its Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme over the past two years, following a visit to Buckingham Palace last month to recognise its commitment during the programme’s Diamond Anniversary.
Chefs from across Bath and The Cotswolds gathered at Homewood Park in Bath on Monday 27 June, for an afternoon of Segway fun, gourmet grilling and food-fuelled capers, catered by head chef Simon Addison, with support from students from GC, Bath College and HIT Training.
