Gloucestershire College has officially announced that it will be relocating its Construction and Building Services provision from a rented unit at the Vantage Point Business Village in Mitcheldean to its Royal Forest of Dean Campus in Five Acres, and its Motor Vehicle provision to Gloucester Campus at Gloucester Docks, this summer.
Gloucestershire College is hosting a Construction and Building Services Showcase on Wednesday 15 July, giving everyone from self-employed tradesmen to larger organisations an opportunity to find out about part-time courses and apprenticeships available.

The construction industry needs skilled people who understand about sustainable building practices and the latest technology.
They also want people who’ve developed traditional skills such as bricklaying and plastering. Our construction training programmes will make you ready for work.
You could train towards becoming a builder, architect or site foreman for construction projects ranging from housing to travel infrastructure.
If your vision of a typical construction worker is a burly man in a hardhat and hi-vis, then think again. The construction industry is continually evolving and many myths about working in the sector no longer apply.
The chance to see the wheels of industry turning inspired Gloucestershire College apprentice Andrew Hemming, to embark on a higher apprenticeship which puts his head for figures to good use behind the scenes of production.
