GC student raft building project raises money for Clic Sargent
This summer Level 1 Sport and Outdoor Education students took part in a raft building project, in which they designed and built their own raft out of drums and planks.

Gloucestershire College is delighted to announce a huge success for its Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme over the past two years, following a visit to Buckingham Palace last month to recognise its commitment during the programme’s Diamond Anniversary.
Supporting its commitment to ensuring its students leave college work-ready, Gloucestershire College is thrilled to announce that three quarters of its Outdoor Education students have gained full-time employment in a relevant industry, as a result of successful work placements.
Gloucestershire College played host to a fast-paced MTB Enduro race earlier this month, which saw students from colleges across the South West take on an 8km route against the clock in the Cannop Valley in the Forest of Dean.
During the February half term Gloucestershire College hosted over 30 young people, aged eight to 16, for a fundamentals and skills Basketball Camp led by Head Coach Danny James and Assistant Coach Joe Grainger.
Gloucestershire College is thrilled to have been selected as the winner of the Association of Colleges This Girl Can photo competition, with an image of a sport student boxing which celebrates and inspires young women in sport.
