A group of Gloucestershire College’s Bricklaying students are working on restoring a historic wall at St Mary de Crypt Church in Gloucester, after having learnt traditional stone working skills especially for this unique project, which was set up and funded by the Southgate St Townscape Heritage Initiative.

Mitcheldean students mark move to Five Acres

Following Gloucestershire College’s recent announcement about the relocation of its Construction and Building Services provision from its Mitcheldean site to the Royal Forest of Dean Campus in Five Acres, a group of plumbing students have marked their enthusiasm for the move by creating and gifting bespoke garden furniture set to the Five Acres Art Department.

World Plumbing Day competition winners announced

Gloucestershire College’s skilled plumbing students took part in a college-wide competition at Gloucester Campus on Monday 11 March to celebrate World Plumbing Day, and we’re delighted to announce that 17-year-old Jamie Sims from Gloucester and Ryan Pope from Tewkesbury took home the titles of heat winners, with Jamie winning the overall GC competition.
