Award-winning stylist to the stars, Patrick Cameron, will join Gloucestershire College’s celebrations at the official launch of its city centre training salon, Graduations at no.9, this Thursday 10 September.

Considered to be the long hair expert, Patrick is a world-renowned stylist who has been working with Wella since 1997 and trains other hairdressers in the art of dressing long hair at his own training school, as well as regularly presenting at prestigious global hairdressing events.

A number of VIP guests have been invited to join salon and College staff and students from 2.30pm for a meet and greet with Patrick at the launch party, before he delivers a hair-up demonstration and the ribbon and cake are officially cut.

During the launch, guests will have the chance to check out the salon’s fantastic facilities, find out how Gloucestershire College can help grow, train and improve their workforce, and network with peers.

Salon Manager, Maria Vallender, said: “The Graduations Team, and our hairdressing students, are really excited to be officially opening the first training salon in the South West. We feel very privileged to welcome Patrick Cameron too, as he is a legend in the hairdressing industry. He will inspire our new and returning students to aim high and achieve their ambitions.”

Launched in partnership with the Francesco Group, Graduations at No.9 bridges the gap between education and employment to give Gloucestershire College students invaluable experience for the future; working with real clients to deliver a range of hair and beauty treatments.

Open six days a week, Graduations at No.9 is located on Northgate Street, Gloucester, and features a contemporary look combining a monochrome colour palette with an industrial theme. It has 12 seats and two beauty rooms, and stocks brands including Wella, Dermalogica and GHD.

If you’re a local business that would like to attend the launch party, email sarah.young@gloscol.ac.uk before Wednesday 9 September. Please note spaces are limited.
