NEW Apprenticeship fact sheets available for apprentices and employers

16 June 2015

Gloucestershire College has launched a new series of apprenticeship fact sheets which clearly explain the range of apprentice career paths available through the College.

As the leading provider of apprenticeships in Gloucestershire – currently training 912 apprentices at 600 local businesses – the College offers an impressive 23 pathways across a broad range of sectors, from business and building services to hairdressing and hospitality.

Each fact sheet features an introduction to the apprenticeship; a breakdown of the framework elements; entry criteria; progression options; a list of example job roles; skills and attributes required; the delivery model and duration; and details of how to apply.

With a fresh new look, the fact sheets have been designed to give both prospective apprentices and local businesses a clear overview of Gloucestershire College’s apprenticeships and the benefits for both parties.

Fact sheets are available for the following sectors:

Business and Professional

Construction, Building Services and Engineering

Hairdressing, Beauty and Holistic Therapies

Health, Care and Dentistry

Hospitality, Leisure and Retail

These fact sheets have been launched alongside the College’s new range of higher apprenticeships across the engineering, IT and professional services, which are available from September.

For more information about apprenticeships visit www.gloscol.ac.uk/apprenticeships or call the GC Business Hub on 01452 563400.
