Why choose GC?

Location:

The Junior Summer School is held at both the Cheltenham and the Gloucester campuses of Gloucestershire College.  Each offers something different: Cheltenham is a lively town in the Cotswolds, known for its numerous festivals and outdoor activities – there’s always something to do! Or Gloucester, with its famous Cathedral (used as a set in the Harry Potter films) and the docks, where tall ships can be seen. Cheltenham and Gloucester are only a few kilometres apart and are connected by frequent bus and train services.  In addition, both are within easy reach of cities such as London, Birmingham, Oxford, Bath, Bristol and Cardiff – so are easily reached from UK ports and airports

Course:

Students can study for 2-5 weeks. The emphasis is on making learning English fun, so students can expect a varied and interesting time during lessons taught by our team of qualified and dedicated teachers. The Gloucester campus offers courses for groups only and the Cheltenham campus offers courses for groups and independent students. The classes comprise of groups of learners of similar ability. Typically there is a good mix of nationalities in each class, giving learners the opportunity to make new friends and meet people from around the globe.
