Students usually stay with a carefully-chosen host family, but for those who are over 18, we offer a modern halls of residence.
Host Family Accommodation
Staying with a host family is a wonderful way to experience British culture, as well as a great way to practice your English speaking skills. All of our host families are carefully chosen by our Accommodation Officer to make sure you are cared for and looked after in a safe and friendly environment.
Host families will provide breakfast and dinner on weekdays, and breakfast, lunch and dinner at the weekend. If you prefer, you can also choose to self-cater. Please note that individuals, couples, and families with children are all considered to be host ‘families’, if you have a preference please let our Accommodation Officer prior to your arrival.
Staying with a host family costs between £145 and £185 per week, this price will be less if self-catering.
Student Residences (18+ years)
GC offers Halls of Residence about twenty minutes walk from the college. You will have a furnished single room with an en-suite shower and toilet. The kitchen is shared between five students, and common areas designed for you to relax with friends. Rooms are usually let for at least one year and students must sign an agreement to live here.
*Please note that there are very limited spaces in the Halls and that they are owned by an external company.
